TEHRAN (Mehr News Agency) -- The Iranian veteran photographer Asghar Bichareh whose life was pictured in the film "To Live," intends to exhibit his collected photos on September 18 for a week at the gallery of Sales Publications.

The exhibition will put on display the photos dating back to approximately 150 years ago when the art of photography was introduced in Iran.

The photos have been taken by photographers like Mirza Ebrahim Khan Akkasbashi, photographer of the Qajar dynasty king, Mozaffar ad-din Shah, Mashallah Khan, a prominent photographer of Nasser Khosro Street in Tehran, Reza Akkas, a photographer of ancient Tehran, and Russi Khan.

The photos taken by Bichareh depict some parts of Iran's history of photography.

Bichareh will also exhibit photos on Iran's history of drama and cinema. He is known as one of the founders of cinema and theatre photography in Iran by artists.

Some documents will also be offered in the exhibition demonstrating the Iranians as inventor of eyeglasses. Dating back to about 400 years ago, the documents have been compiled by Bichareh.

He decides to publish the photos and documents in three volumes in near future. The exhibition will also be held in Iranian cities and foreign countries in future.
